  5. Bursitis: Inflammation of the bursa, small fluid-filled sacs that cushion the joints, can occur at the back of the heel, causing pain.
  6. Heel Bursitis: This is inflammation of the bursa located between the heel bone and Achilles tendon.
  7. Sever’s Disease: This condition typically affects children and adolescents during growth spurts when the growth plate at the back of the heel is under stress. It can cause heel pain and tenderness.
  8. Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome: Compression of the posterior tibial nerve as it passes through the tarsal tunnel can lead to heel pain, tingling, or numbness.
